Record your own stories. Our staff will handle the audio and share it via Storycorps and our own Community Content Collection. Zoom info will be sent to registrants an hour before program begins.
In preperation for this initiative, join us for a program on Tuesday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m. to learn how you can participate.
This national movement empowers young people—and people of all ages—to create an oral history of the contemporary United States by recording an interview with an elder, mentor, friend or someone they admire using the free StoryCorps App (iPhone or Android).
StoryCorps gives people of all backgrounds the opportunity to record meaningful conversations and archive these recordings at the Library of Congress. Their mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world.
